Introducing Frontier Ponds: Established in 1992, we are a full service pond installer. We build custom water features to create a one of a kind back yard paradise to match your lifestyle. We are a small family owned company committed to remaining small. By having specialized equipment, lower overhead and fewer employees, we are able to give your project our full attention. From design concept, through construction, to follow-up service, we will guide you in making the right decisions to protect and enhance the value and beauty of your property. We not only design and install water features, but we are here to educate our customers about their water features and the easiest way to maintain them so they can reap the benefits of enjoyment, relaxation, and serenity of their water feature.
With the assistance of Frontier Ponds, your well-designed pond includes two types of filtration, one being mechanical, and the other biological. If you have both you’re guaranteed a low maintenance pond with beautiful clear water. You need a top quality rubber liner and an energy efficient pump to circulate the water usually down a nice stream to a waterfall back into the pond. Once the pond is excavated, decorative rocks, plants, fish and even underwater lights are added along with some landscaping. You can create a paradise right in your own backyard for your family and friends to enjoy.
Our Aquatic Center carries a full line of water garden materials to meet all of your needs; filters, liner, pumps, and contractor quality water garden material for the “Do-It-Yourself” customers. We use these same products in our professional installation projects. We also include a four-year warranty on workmanship and accept major credit cards. Frontier Ponds is a “Certified Aquascape Contractor,” one of 250 CAC’s in the nation.
As a CAC, we are required to obtain so many hours of educational training every 2 years to maintain our CAC status. I have traveled with my crew to New Jersey, Wisconsin Dells, Pennsylvania, Omaha Zoo and various locations, besides all the local ponds we have built and even build a waterfall in North Carolina for Nascar King Richard Petty. Frontier Ponds’ crew attends a minimal of 3 weeks of intense training each year through Aquascape -The Nation’s largest Water Garden manufacturer right here in St. Charles, Illinois. This is an ongoing effort to keep up with new techniques and technology from how to build the most natural looking waterfalls to water quality, and the health of your Aquatic plants and fish. We are members of the ILCA - Illinois Landscape Contractors Association, the Better Business Bureau, and local Chamber of Commerce. We are also a Preferred Pond Contractor for the Del Webb Community.
